Teaching Philosophies and Practices
Teaching is a complex task framed by multiple conceptual structures
and guided by a variety of specific procedures. Sometimes a degree
of uniformity between faculty members can be expected due to philosophies
and practices common to the institution in which they teach, but
a degree of variety between faculty members also exists by virtue
of their own individual outlooks on teaching. This section of my web site gives students, colleagues, parents, and adminstrators a look at my particular approach to collegiate teaching.
Please note that at present (early summer 2005) this section of my web site is undergoing major renovations.
