Converse, Google and many other global brands. He and his business partner Kirk 
Souder created the documentary Art & Copy, a feature about creativity and its power 
to entertain, move, and change culture of the mass and the individual. The film 
was selected as a finalist at the 2009 Sundance 
Festival and won an Emmy in 2011

Photo of Debbie Wideroe Professor Debbie Wideroe, Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication at Pepperdine University who teaches advertising classes, was awarded in March 2012 by the American Academy of Advertising for the prestigious 2012 Charles H. Sandage Excellence in Teaching Award. She is only the 7th person to receive this award since the award was established 16 years ago. Above Picture: Gregory Beauchamp, Creative Partner of Granite Pass, spoke to Professor Rosenkrans' class and Professor Perez's class. Gregory, a Pepperdine Alumnus, is an awarded designer/art director working in the fields of advertising and art. In 2005, Gregory partnered with Kirk Souder and formed Granite Pass – a project-based creative skunk works working for agencies and brands  – where he got the opportunity to think of platforms for Coca-Cola, Sony, Converse, Google and many other global brands.  Gregory and Kirk also spent this time creating the documentary “Art & Copy,” a feature about creativity and its power to entertain, move and change the culture of the mass and the individual.  The film is a 2011 Emmy-Award winner.

Don was Chief Operating Officer World-Wide for Y&R's public relations/public affairs/marketing communications company, Burson-Marsteller. He also served as Executive Vice-President for Corporate Affairs for Y&R Inc., which included oversight in a number of corporate areas for some 20 different companies in the advertising/marketing world. Don's dynamic presentation gave students tips on the Big Idea, presentation/pitch skills, and the Big Ideal. 

ve: Above: Guest speaker Alan Roderick-Jones visits with Dr. Rosenkrans' Spring 2010 classes. Alan is an esteemed art director in the entertainment industry. He designed over 900 commercials for advertising agencies, won 6 Cleo Awards, Silver Lion at Cannes, New York Advertising Award for Excellence in Art Direction, received Academy Awards for art direction for Star Wars and Nicolas & Alexandra, and worked on 26 feature films. Alan also designed Environments for The Lord of the Rings, Van Helsing, and Hulk 2 Video Games through Vivendi Universal’s interactive division. He is a Graduate of London’s Chelsea School of Art.
