Kathleen Florita -
email
Hi! My name is Kathleen Rose
Florita and I am from Sacramento,
California. I was born on October 14, 1987
and I am the second of three children. I am
a junior double majoring in International
Studies with an emphasis on Political
Science and Spanish. I spent my sophomore
year abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I
work for the Office of Advancement and tutor
high school students in various subjects. I
love traveling, reading, running and
spending time with my family and friends.
Hopefully, this summer I will be
interning in Washington D.C. I decided not
to graduate this year because I want to take
all four years of college in its entirety.
After participating in the Dispute
Resolution Program last summer, I am
interested in pursuing public policy or
international studies. Carpe Diem! |

Olesya Salnikova -
email
My name is Olesya Salnikova
and I am a senior at Pepperdine. I was born
in Mosco and lived there until I was seven,
after which my family moved to the U.S. I am
double majoring in English Writing/Rhetoric
and Political Science and have spent a
semester in the Pepperdine London program my
sophomore year. I enjoy traveling,
especially in Europe and South America, and
have recently visited Japan. After
graduation, I plan to take a year off to
gain some experience in the legal field and
then attend law school the following year.
For the last two summers, I have interned at
Baker & McKenzie, an international corporate
law firm in Chicago, in their IT project
development and professional development
departments. This experience, as well as my
Russian background, is one of the reasons
why I would like to work as an attorney
dealing with international affairs. |

Michael Wang -
email
Michael grew up in San
Diego, which fostered in him a natural
affection for In-N-Out burgers and quality
Mexican food. When Michael isn't at school
or working at a local bookstore, you can
find him hanging out with friends, playing
guitar, or snowboarding in the local
mountains. Chocolate chip cookies and black
coffee with a touch of sugar are guaranteed
to put a smile on Michael's face.

Dr. Robert E. Williams - email
Robert Williams has been
teaching IR at Pepperdine since 1992. He
previously taught at Southwest Missouri State University
(now Missouri State) and Abilene Christian University.
Dr. Williams is happiest
when watching baseball. His oldest son, Daniel
(now a Pepperdine junior), was a first-team
All-CIF centerfielder at Malibu
High in 2005. His younger son,
Stephen (a high school senior), was named
Malibu High's most valuable player each of
the last two
seasons.
Williams is engaged to marry
Sandy Harrison. (That's why he's got
the game face on in the photo on the left.)
